The Flight Academy Coaching Program is designed for all skill levels. Whether you’re a beginner learning techniques and trying to land your first front sault, or an advanced jumper trying to master those doubles, twists and layouts, Flight Academy is for you!
Whether you’re already part of our Flight Academy program, looking to accelerate your progress or you’re new to trampoline coaching altogether, BOUNCE promises to meet all your needs!
Designed for primary aged kids from 7-13 years old, but easily adapted for other age groups that want to get involved.
Group, term-based classes are available for kids and adults. We would love to cater for everyone, however, for safety reasons all participants are required to meet a minimum height requirement of 125cm.
The Flight Academy program includes 1 FREE session, Monday-Friday, where you can hone the skills you learnt during class!
Learn to fly.
Just like gymnastics, diving and tennis, trampolining is an individual sport; therefore participants will receive dedicated coaching time solely with the coach as well as independent time on other trampolines and equipment to continue to develop their skills. Having correct technique is extremely important for trampoline athletes.
The basis of all classes is developing correct technique. Nailing these fundamentals will ensure participants fast track to more advanced skills safely.
More specifically, in each class you can expect a warm up, form & technique building, skills focus and routines.

The Free-Jump Arena is a giant network of interconnected floor and wall trampolines. It’s like Free-Running and Parkour made easy! This is our main stage – with around 50 interconnected trampolines, tumble tracks and banked walls. Enjoy freestyle freedom or just run wild in this oversized playground.
The Slam Dunk area features full-height basketball rings above runway trampolines surrounded by padded walls and floor mats. It’s like borrowing the legs of the world’s best basket-baller.
Try the simple approach first. Three jumps to build your bounce height, then slam it! Add in some moves – maybe around the back or through the legs.
Get creative and go for style points. Slam Dunk is one of our most addictive attractions – give it a try to find out why.
High performance trampolines in this area enable greater bounce and height. The area is perfect for skills development and more advanced manoeuvres.
Performance trampolines are often used by athletes pursuing advanced performance around sports such skiing, snowboarding, wake-boarding and skate boarding etc. It’s also a training ground free-runners and anyone involved in dedicated trampoline sports.
Our safety policy sets a height restriction of 125cm and above in the Performance Trampolines area.
The Big Air Bag provides a giant soft landing so you can get massively airborne just for fun, or practicing your aerial moves in safety.
It’s the best place to work on moves that you can then take to the Performance Trampolines, the street or the ski slopes. Lying at the end of rebound tumble tracks, the giant inflatable bag sits in a five-foot-deep pit.
Start with simple jumps then get as technical as your skills allow.
Dodgeball is trampoline warfare. It’s high-energy, awesome fun and the balls are soft.
Enter the Dodgeball courts – the ultimate trampoline Colosseum where primal battle instincts rise to the fore in fun and often funny ways. Two teams throw soft ‘bowling ball’ sized dodgeballs at each other as they jump around the court. The art is using your bounce skills to dodge the balls and outmanoeuvre your opposition. Keep moving (upwards or sideways) and avoid a direct hit while you take the other team out one by one. Last player bouncing wins.
Great for parties, groups of friends or corporate outings to blow off some steam. Dodgeball is also an incredible workout without realising you’re exercising.
X-Park – is an Adventure Challenge Course for adrenaline hunters. It combines obstacles & features that can be explored as stand-alone challenges or navigated as one circuit with different levels of difficulty to allow for personal progression and creative expression.
What is X-Park?
X-Park is an adventure challenge course similar to American Ninja Warrior.
It’s an awesome free-style playground, requiring agility, strength & coordination, where adrenaline hunters can race their mates or race the clock.
Exclusive to BOUNCE Menlyn Maine, Fourways Mall & now at Cornubia in KZN, X-Park is South Africa’s first and only indoor adventure challenge course combining elements of climbing, jumping & free-running before zipping on the aerial runway to the finish line.
This epic urban playground is designed to allow challenge and diversity for free-running masters as well as easy entry points for first-timers. Each element can be explored as a stand-alone challenge or navigated as one circuit with different levels of difficulty to allow for personal progression and creative expression.
Ultimately, the aim is to get from the start to the end of the course in the fastest and most awesome way possible!
Incorporates 15 different elements with varying routes for beginners through to experts. The parkour area is designed to allow challenge and diversity for free-running masters as well as easy-entry points for first timers.
Fans of the Ninja-Warrior phenomenon will recognise the impressive warped walls, which require a combination of speed, strength and timing to master.
Canadian rock-climbing specialists RockWerx were engaged to create the bouldering wall, which will ensure challenge and progression for experienced and novice climbers alike.
X-Park encompasses total-body exercise, requiring agility, coordination and work from all the muscles.
The actions develop core strength, the impact builds stronger bones and the constant moving promotes cardiovascular endurance, leading to increased fitness and stamina.
The health benefits of X-Park are not only limited to the body. Negotiating the obstacles exercises the brain as each requires the practice of quick, instinctive decision-making. Subsequently, confidence, creativity and a positive attitude are acquired.
· Minimum 125cm height required for all participants
· One participant per obstacle at a time
· Only attempt obstacles within your skill level
· Lace-up, flat-soled and closed toe sports/skate shoes must be worn in the area
· Watch out for other participants at all times to ensure adequate spacing
· Give way to faster runners
· Tips: To challenge yourself, attempt to complete the course without touching the black areas.
The Wall combines high performance trampolines with vertical walls of various heights for freestyle tricks and Wall Running. This area is like a skate park made out of trampolines.
You need to experience Wall Running to believe how much fun and addictive it is. Like most of the best ideas it’s a super simple concept – use the bounce and rebound properties of Performance Trampolines to run up walls
It was pioneered by the Cirque Du Soleil and takes a few tips to master, but once you get it its pure awesomeness every time. Come and have a crack at the next frontier.
