We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, you can request a refund from us to credit your account, subject to the below terms. This Policy applies to Activities bought from Adventure Escapades itself and from Third Party Sellers.
This Policy forms part of the Adventure Escapades’ Terms and Conditions, and so words defined in the Terms and Conditions have the same meaning in this Policy, unless the context indicates otherwise. Nothing in this Policy is intended to limit your statutory rights in any way.
Once you have redeemed your Adventure Escapades’ Voucher / Purchase at the relevant Adventure Venue, Adventure Escapades will no longer process any returns or refunds. After the redemption of your Voucher / Purchase any refund or returns are the sole responsibility of the relevant Adventure Venue.
You can request a refund of an unwanted Activity/ies, provided:
- it is unused, as verified by the Adventure Escapades’ team.
- For an event which has already passed
- you log a refund with Adventure Escapades within 30 days of purchase. After 30 days, you cannot request a refund.
- you understand that a Refund Fee of 10% will be deducted.
Changed your mind?
Where you have changed your mind and would like a credit for an Activity, you can request a refund – provided the Activity is not:
- An Adventure Escapades’ Gift Voucher
- For an event which has already passed.
Not what you ordered?
If we accidentally deliver the wrong Activity to you, or if the Activity is not as described on the Website, please notify us immediately and we’ll arrange a correction/refund.
Gift Vouchers & Coupons
There are two types of Coupons: a Coupon with a fixed amount of a discount, e.g. R100 off (“Fixed Coupon”), and a Coupon with a percentage discount, e.g. 10% off (“Percentage Coupon”).
Where you have used a Fixed Coupon to pay for an order, and you or Adventure Escapades later cancels your order (or part thereof) prior to participation in the Activity or you log a refund of one or more Activities for a credit in accordance with the Refunds Policy, the value of the Fixed Coupon will be deducted off the purchase price of the cancelled or refunded Activity(ies) and we will credit the account used for the purchase, with for the balance, less a 10% Refund Fee. We may also provide you with a replacement Fixed Coupon for the balance, less the 10% Refund Fee.
Adventure Escapades may, at its sole discretion, impose restrictions on the use of the replacement Fixed Coupon. For any subsequent cancellations or refunds arising out of the same order, we will credit your account as normal with the value of the refunded Activity(ies) (or refund you if that is your preference).
Where you have used a Percentage Coupon to pay for an order, and you or Adventure Escapades later cancels your order (or part thereof) prior to participation in the relevant Activity(ies), or you log a Refund Request of one or more Activities for a credit in accordance with the Refunds Policy, the value of the discount received using the Percentage Coupon will be deducted off the purchase price of the cancelled or refunded Activity(ies) and we will credit the account used for the initial purchase, with the balance, less the 10% Refund Fee. We may also provide you with a replacement Fixed Coupon of the same value as the discount received using the original Percentage Coupon.
Adventure Escapades may in its sole discretion impose restrictions on the use of the replacement Fixed Coupon. For any subsequent cancellations or refunds arising out of the same order, we will credit the account used to purchase the original Activity(ies) with the net value remaining.
Wherever you have used a Gift Voucher to purchase Activity(ies) that you later request a refund for, in accordance with the Policy, we cannot refund you in cash for that portion of the purchase that has already been redeemed, using the Gift Voucher, but we may issue a Gift Voucher for the net value outstanding, less the 10% Refund Fee, to be used on another Activity(ies).
Charges and Refunds
Please note that we only refund to the payment method that you originally used – i.e. payment by credit card will be refunded to the same credit card, payment by EFT or COD (cash on delivery) will be refunded to your nominated bank account.
Refunds will not be processed until your original payment has reflected in Adventure Escapades account.
All Refunds and/or Cancellations carry a 10% Refund Fee.
Under no circumstances will donations be refunded.
