• Gente del Sudafrica, le loro storie, cultura e comunità
• Bellezza Naturale e paesaggi di Città del Capo e dintorni
• Creatività e lo stile di vita contemporaneo del Capo STREET ART & GRAFFITI
Can street art be the medium between creating beautiful things, beautiful spaces as well as bridging the visible divides within the City?

Cape Town has fast become well known for this resilient art form that has evolved over the years with significant pieces spread throughout the urban area. Some of the best displays from renowned local and international artists are found in the vibrant restored suburbs of Salt River and Woodstock. For many, the recent revamp of these suburbs has been anxiously welcomed, however, the rapidly rising cost of living has largely impacted the tightly knit residence of the area. The Street Art & Graffiti Tour teaches us how graffiti art does not merely act, as an embellishment for the area’s buildings but is also a way to bring positive socio-economical changes within the community.

ART & DESIGN (NEW)
Ever wondered what is behind an art piece?
On this tour, we explore various locations of Cape Town visiting the artists in their intimate creative spaces listening to their life stories and witnessing the birth of new art and design pieces. Expect to see high-quality perfume making, the forging of bronze sculptures, contemporary ceramists and more talents that are shaping the craftsmanship of the Country.

WOODSTOCK EXPERIENCE
Join us as we turn the spotlight on the innovative suburb of Woodstock!
This experience is a full immersion into the heart of the District, with its hub of creative minds, working studios, craft breweries, and local gin producers not to mention the welcoming nature of the local community.
Expect to hit the streets viewing Street Art Murals, visit various artisans as they take us through their works, indulge in a Cape Style home cooked meal and finally quench the thirst with some craft beer or fynbos infused gin.

HOUT BAY ART CONNECTIONS

We visit the quaint town of Stellenbosch, with its historically drenched Dutch architecture and a relaxed atmosphere. A walk in the Town is the best way to experience this art and wine capital while learning about its bygone days. CAPE TOWN CITY
Cape Town is a cosmopolitan city, born in a natural amphitheater dominated by the majestic Table Mountain with sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean. Our journey starts from the top of Signal Hill or Table Mountain (weather permitting) where one can enjoy the best views of the City as well as to understand its layout. We continue driving towards the City Centre to learn about the history and the making of the City while visiting the Castle of Good Hope, the City Hall and discovering the facts that led to the forced removals in the District Six and the years of segregation. To get a feel of Cape Town and its people we take a stroll around the Historical Centre walking into the Company Garden, being the true heart of the City and home of the Parliament Building, the Saint George Cathedral and many other historical buildings. Bo-Kaap, home of the vibrant Cape Malay community is the perfect destination to conclude our day, wandering alongside the colorful houses, enticed by the scents of the spices and delicious homemade food drifting through the air.

BO-KAAP FOOD & CULTURE
The Bo- Kaap Food & Culture takes us through the colourful streets of the Malay Quarter.
Strolling through the architectural beauty of the area, not only do we gain insight into the birth of the Bo- Kaap, the years of slavery and the shaping of a City, but also learn interesting facts about the Afrikaans language, the music and the making of the minstrel carnival. This experience cannot be completed without a visit to the first mosque built in South Africa and a family home where we will learn to cook the speciality of the Mother City, the delicious Cape Malay Cuisine.

TOWNSHIP LIFE
Hosted by our local Township Guide, this spectacular tour takes one through the oldest black townships in Cape Town. Here we learn the basics of the IsiXhosa language while visiting family homes and community projects.
A visit to the local shebeen, to taste the traditional sorghum beer umqombothi is a must! Moving between formal and informal settlements, we discover the history, the traditions, the music as well as the life force that permeates through the community. This is an eye-opening chance to view the Townships not merely as a poverty-stricken environment but as a land of opportunity and development.
