Venue Description:
The main Reception Hall is a Romantic Medieval Castle, of natural stone and wood, magnificent venue that will accommodate the entire spectrum of functions – from glamorous weddings, formal corporate functions, conferences, to festive and funky birthday parties or Matric farewells.
Seating arrangements available for this venue; Stand-up Cocktail, Boardroom, Cinema, Square, Schoolroom, Round Banquet, Herring Bone or U-Shape.
Venue Hire Rate – Starting from R 4000 to R 18000 (rates are VAT exclusive)

Summer Kitchen:
Guests – 15 to 80 guests.

Venue Description:
The Medieval Story:
A long long time ago the Summer Kitchen was separated from the Main Castle. Food was prepared here on open fire and big cast iron pots.
Cooking and washing were allocated for this area and it was extremely hot and smoky. If you were hungry this was the place to be.

Today:
The Summer Kitchen is a small rustic venue of natural stone and wood, that is surrounded by trees and open grass fields. From your secured parking area, the guests will walk through a forest path to the Summer Kitchen.
The Medieval Chapel can also be booked for a small intimate and cosy wedding. This venue offers exceptional photo opportunities in the garden and around the chapel and castle. The Summer Kitchen can accommodate a spectrum of functions – from corporate functions, to festive and funky birthday parties or team building events.
This venue can also be combined with a tent on the open grass field. The kids play area and the open grass areas is the perfect place for your kid’s party or play date. Décor and Menu options is available on request.
Venue Hire Rate – Afternoon & Evening from R 3000 – R 5500 (rates are VAT exclusive)

Chapel:
Guests – 180 guests.

Venue Description:
The Chapel is situated in a tranquil garden where the chirping birds can merrily sing to your joy as you cheerfully say your vows and commitment to each other. Beautifully nestled amongst some of the rarest exotic plants, the Chapel is ideal for that special wedding ceremony, be it in the morning or evening with the beautiful sun setting gently to the west.
Welcome drinks and light snacks can be served afterwards whilst the newlyweds are busy with photos with their bridal entourage. The chapel can also be utilized for quick product presentations/launches whereby the delegates just need to come and quickly meet for a few hours. Amenities like tea/coffee can be arranged to be served on arrival in the garden surrounding the chapel.

Conference Room:
Guests – 4 – 20 delegates.

Venue Description:
The venue looks like the legendary king Arthur’s chambers. It gives you the comfort and privacy to plan with precision making solid decisions in your conference. Situated in the upstairs section of the castle, King Arthur’s Chambers has 2 breakaway rooms that can be used by your PA/Secretary as an office or storage room for your meeting material.
Alternatively, a tea/coffee station can be set up in the breakaway rooms to enable you to have refreshments throughout the day. Set up can be done according to preferences i.e. U-shape, Boardroom, Schoolroom, Round tables or Cinema style.

Tent in the Garden:
Marque Guests – 40 – 400 guests.

Marque Venue Description:
The marquee is a huge structure that can be converted from a banquet hall to a cocktail event set up, to a conference for large groups or even a market day. The flexibility of the set up allows guests or clients to create effortless events and incorporate any theme.

Tea Garden:
Guests – 60 guests maximum.
Menu – Menu Choices to be confirmed with the co-ordinator

Venue Description:
The beautifully sculptured gardens in the tea garden can host the most precious moments, be it a high tea, stork party or baby shower to name a few. The venue allows guests to decorate to a theme of their choice whilst being served a variety of cocktails, teas, and other treats. Girlfriends can also just meet up for a bit of a catch up in this beautiful space and share the latest trends in fashion, make up tips and local gossip.

Terms & Conditions:
To Secure Your Booking:
A R5 000 BOOKING FEE is payable as well as acceptance by signing of the Terms & Conditions. Proof of payments and acceptance of our Terms & Conditions should be e-mailed to info@riversidecastle.co.za Please take note that when R5000 BOOKING FEE is paid to Riverside Castle to secure a date – it will automatically be an agreement of all terms and conditions on the package.

Cancellations:
In the event of you cancelling your date, subsequent to the BOOKING FEE being paid, a refund will only be made in the event of Riverside Castle’s ability to re-sell the venue for a similar function on the date for which the function was booked.

Date Shifting:
We do not allow any date shifting. Date shifting will be seen as a cancelation of which the same rules will count as the points mentioned under the cancelation section
