Crocworld is home to a variety of crocodile and alligators, as well as a range of remarkable snake species. The exhibits are safe for even the youngest of visitors, but also offer an exhilarating experience for fans of these incredible creatures. Visitors can also spend the day exploring the immense 24ha gardens that include extensive aviaries as well as over 200 species of wild birds which can be spotted on the premises. Whilst strolling through the indigenous greenery, there is ample opportunity to observe the beautiful birds in their natural habitats or spot the Centre’s many reptiles. Crocworld is also a prime venue for children’s parties and school tours. The onsite chapel can be hired out to provide you with a unique and gorgeous venue for your special day.

Crocworld Conservation Centre is the ideal choice to keep both adults and little ones entertained, in a safe and relaxing environment. They have thrilling animal displays including 11 of the 12 deadly dozen venomous snakes in South Africa and aviaries containing numerous rescued birds. There is a playground with equipment that also caters for disabled children as well as a small farm.
Avid gardeners will be delighted to shop at the Centre’s Izinyoni Indigenous Nursery with its ever-increasing range of plants, trees and shrubs. The nursery’s expert staff are happy to share gardening tips with the green-fingered clients.
Crocworld Conservation Centre’s gift shop has a vast array of exquisite clothing and curios, as well as toys, jewelry, books and ornaments. The Centre also sells gift vouchers which are available at the reception area, and can be redeemed at both the main gift shop, or at Izinyoni Indigenous Nursery.
A delectable menu and spectacular sea views are available at the onsite Le Rendez-vous Restaurant.
On the Crocworld premises, you will find the Crookes Family Chapel, which was built in 1960. It has a unique old style feel to it with the pitch roof, tainted windows and a grave site. The chapel also has its own working organ. So if you are looking at having a traditional style wedding, then this chapel is ideal for your wedding ceremony. The chapel seats around 60 people and can be booked out for R750.
The Le Rendez-Vous Restaurant also works as a wedding venue. It can accommodate a maximum of 140 guests, and the menu packages are designed to let you have the choice of what you really want. From the basic affordable menu to the 5 stars choices. The venue includes all your basic décor (i.e. tables, chairs, table cloths, overlays, chairs covers, tie backs, napkins and all crockery, cutlery and glassware). The venue also has a dance floor and a unique 180 degree sea view. Bookings essential.
Crocworld also works as a fun and unique venue for children’s parties. Please note that the party rate is R40 per child (minimum of 10 children) R40 per adult. If there be less than 10 children (the adult rate will increase to R50 per adult). School tours can be arranged, suitable for pre-schoolers as well as older children. Booking for these features is essential. School Tours: R37.50 per child; Tour Groups: R65 per person (groups of 20 individuals or more).

Head South along the N2. Continue along the N2 past the old airport. Take exit 110 towards Dududu / R102 / Scottburgh and follow direction boards.
Directions from Margate:
Crocworld is halfway to Durban from Margate Take N2 North, branch off at the Scottburgh off ramp and follow the direction boards.
