Greystone, without a doubt the place for you…
Greystone overlooks the Wagendrift Dam and Moor Park Nature Reserve that hosts zebra, wildebeest and various buck species. Also 100 bird species including the black eagle and fish eagle on those special days. The Greystone house is a national monument and the camp accommodation is mostly in rondavels. Situated 13 km outside of Estcourt, Kwa Zulu Natal, 200km from Durban and 400km from Johannesburg.

About Your Speaker
David Allen is based in Estcourt, Kwa Zulu Natal, South Africa and successfully runs several small businesses. He is co-director, along with his partner Alfred Eden, of Challenge Tours; which facilitates leadership and team-building courses held at Greystone Camp. He has been an active member of the Police Reservists for 13 consecutive years and has also been a member of a Specialist Unit. His services have been requested at places such as Stellenbosch University, Pietermaritzburg Chamber of Commerce, Nestle Head Office, and Geneva and at a Village Camp leadership school in Switzerland. He is a regular speaker at parent’s evenings and school functions and is known for his talks on behalf of the police. Although his emphasis is on leadership, David has also enjoyed the benefits of travel which has not only broadened his knowledge and expertise but has also given him insight into many topics.
Talks are done at Greystone Campsite as part of a leadership course or conveniently at your school.
A serene setting in a beautiful garden, with a magnificent view overlooking Wagendrift dam. The Greystone Emmaus Chapel is an ideal venue for weddings, funerals and spiritual meetings.
Hezekiah hall is suitable for wedding receptions, group meetings, educational training groups and conferences. Seating for 250 persons.
Matthew House dormitory can also host smaller groups and includes DSTV.
4 self-catering rondavels which, although basic, can sleep 4 persons and is perfect for that weekend getaway. This is also where we accommodate our visiting teachers.
Bedding will be provided for these units.
For those lazy summer days or simply to distract the kids!
Our dormitory, Matthew House, can sleep 40 persons comfortably and our 6 bungalows can each accommodate 14, which bring the total to 124 excluding the self-catering rondavels.
Although Greystone is a campsite by name, catering mainly for leadership courses, we have become known for our quality service and clean accommodation. Our repeat business testifies of this as we endeavour in making you, the customer, and our top priority. We cater for a wide range of groups from corporate through to school groups and our facilities and beautiful surroundings lend it to those special functions.
