Vertical Adventure Center
Orlando Towers, with its jump zone a whopping 100m from the ground, proudly presents the first ever heart-pumping swing between the two vertical cooling towers. Once home, to a column of super-heated steam, the two cooling towers make for the largest landmark in historical SOWETO, now one of South Africa’s biggest tourist attractions. The structures were originally built for the Orlando Power Station, which in its day was the most advanced facility in the Southern hemisphere. Although the facility is no longer in operation, you can still FEEL THE POWER!!! Join us for the most exhilarating view of Soweto ever. Instead of attempting to verbalize just how awesome the POWER SWING is, we thought we would give it to you from the proverbial “Adventure Junky’s” mouth. The following is taken from an activity review, by an AdventureEscapades.co.za independent correspondent.
Vital Information: The facility was established and is run based on professional operations and a high regard for safety through adherence to safety standards.
